RECEPTION On arrival there was a wait of 20 minutes as there were so many people checking in with three members of staff checking them in. The young man that checked us in was friendly. He took our details and gave us our room card and said that our room was on the 5th floor. Unfortunately he didn't tell us any information about how to get there, we were left to find our way around. We asked other clients were the pool, the restaurant and the lifts were, I felt rushed at reception as there were so many people waiting and I never thought to ask. We bought an armband from him that gave us unlimited drinks at lunchtime. He told us this information, put the armband on and didn't cut the remainder of the tag off. I thought that I needed to do this myself until I watched as he cut the next ladies off for her, I then asked him to cut mine. I felt that I was not given the same attention as the other clients as they were given information in Spanish, maybe it was a language barrier. We were given the information on a sheet of paper, all in Spanish. We walked aimlessly around the hotel looking for a bar to get a cold drink after a long drive. The bar staff were very busy but friendly. I can read some Spanish so once we found our room I read the details of the hotel. Perhaps a sheet of information in English, French German and Spanish would be welcoming and helpful for non Spanish speakers. We visited the reception on a few occasions when they weren't so busy to ask questions and the staff were very helpful and friendly. THE POOL We sat around the pool on our first day, it is well equipped with lots of clean sunloungers. The pools areas are kept lovely with a lot of thought gone into the planning, no broken tiles or sunloungers.

Excellent stay here on our 50th wedding anniversary. Complimentary cake and a bottle of bubbly very well received. Excellent breakfast and evening buffets with wide choice. Most guests here are Spanish, so local dishes with lots of seafood and delicious desserts. Plenty to fill a wet afternoon with pool tables and tenpin bowling alley. Staff were friendly and helpful A car is recommended as the hotel is on a hill with little within walking distance. We were very satisfied with our visit.

My family liked the breakfSt. Parking difficult and expensive. However due to a booking error we were one night short but luckily after discussion the hotel were charming and managed to accommodate our booking at the arranged price. Very courteous of them and excellent customer service.

Linda

The food, the pools, the staff, the spa... Everything was great and we had a good time in family (we were traveling with a toddler, one child, one teenager and two older people and all of them had a good time due to the variety in activities that you can do there).

Verónica

The hotel is in a stunning location on a headland between a beautiful harbour and the bay of La Herradura. The hotel itself had lovely pools and facilities ... but add the lovely local beach bars and restaurants into the mix and its a winner!
